We are seeking experienced dialysis nurses who are passionate about delivering patient-centred care within a structured, clinically governed home dialysis model.
About the Role
Dialysis Nurse – Home Dialysis (Nurse-Assisted Care) This role involves providing nurse-assisted home haemodialysis in accordance with established care plans and clinical governance frameworks. Care is delivered in collaboration with treating nephrologists and relevant health services.
- Key Responsibilities
- Deliver nurse-assisted home haemodialysis in patients’ homes
- Work under established nephrologist care plans and clinical protocols
- Monitor patient condition, treatment response, and dialysis parameters
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting
- Follow infection prevention and safety procedures in the home setting
- Escalate clinical concerns in line with defined escalation pathways
- Support patient education and engagement during home dialysis care
- Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Dialysis experience (home haemodialysis or hospital-based haemodialysis)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a structured clinical framework
- Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professional practice
- Compliance with NSW Health screening and vaccination requirements
Employment Model
- Home dialysis–focused roles only (nurse-assisted care)
- Ongoing or long-term casual arrangements
- No agency shifts, hospital placements, or short-term staffing assignments
