At National Dialysis, we are expanding our services to support home dialysis patients and hospital renal units across NSW.
We are seeking dedicated and experienced dialysis nurses to join our team for both community-based and hospital-based roles.
Dialysis Nurse – Home & Hospital Settings
Location: Multiple locations across Sydney, regional NSW, and rural NSW (depending on service needs)
Role Overview: We are looking for compassionate and experienced Dialysis Nurses to provide safe, high-quality care in:
- Home haemodialysis
- Satellite dialysis units
- Acute hospital dialysis services
- Short-term and long-term contract placements
- Leave relief and vacancy coverage for renal units
You will help deliver exceptional patient care and support our partner hospitals with flexible nursing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dialysis treatments in home, satellite, or hospital settings
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and treatment responses
- Operate and maintain dialysis equipment safely
- Educate and support patients and families on dialysis and related care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide patient-centred, culturally respectful care
- Adhere to NSW Health and organisational clinical standards
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 1 year of haemodialysis experience (hospital or satellite units preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within hospital teams
- Flexibility for shift work, home visits, or short-term hospital contracts
- Vaccination compliance and NSW Health screening requirements (or willingness to obtain)
